Leathercraft Experience is a hands-on workshop designed to introduce participants to the slow and tactile craft of working with leather.

In a relaxed studio setting, you will create your own small leather piece by hand, choosing from a selection of pre-designed items such as a card holder, an eyewear pouch or a passport sleeve. Before the workshop, you will be able to choose your leather color and foil stamping option, adding a personal detail to your finished piece. The workshop is led by Sonya, founder of Atelier Sonya Choi. Originally from Korea, she learned traditional leathercraft techniques in Korea, bringing together years of craftsmanship, cultural influence and thoughtful design.

During the session, you will learn about vegetable-tanned leather, explore basic leathercraft tools, and experience traditional hand-stitching and edge finishing techniques. The process is designed to be calm and beginner-friendly, allowing you to enjoy the rhythm of making without feeling overwhelmed.

Whether you are trying leathercraft for the first time or simply looking for a creative moment away from your everyday routine, this workshop offers a chance to slow down, work with your hands, and leave with a useful leather piece made entirely by you.

All materials and tools are provided.
